MIKO+ Physiotherapeutic Jewellery

MIKO+ Physiotherapeutic Jewellery

About

MIKO+ is a line of jewelry that combines aesthetic beauty with physiotherapy. Focusing on the wrist, a joint commonly stressed as a result of our excessive use of computers, MIKO+ provides an alternative to conventional braces. Using traditional goldsmithing techniques, the pieces are made from gilded pink brass and mineral acrylic composite. Their forms are designed to relieve pressure on the interior wrist, the area damaged by conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome. By integrating the aesthetic luxury of jewelry with the therapeutic qualities of medical braces, MIKO+ allows the user to receive treatment without sacrificing style.
