Redefining the limit

Redefining the limit

About

In Bogotá, low-income neighbourhoods lack good-quality public spaces – depriving residents of an important aspect of civic life. Combining landscape design and architecture, the designer has devised a scheme in which a large park connects urban areas of the city – creating a pleasant flow between urban, suburban, natural and wetland spaces. The scheme provides valuable public spaces for the city’s most deprived residents while improving air quality, biodiversity and the general aesthetic for all.
