Designed with behavioural science and inclusive principles, it fosters safe, community-driven care beyond clinical settings. By combining technology with human connection, Wasl reduces stigma and empowers users to manage mental health proactively, offering a compassionate, accessible companion for emotional resilience and self-understanding

Zoe Concepcion is a graduate of the Dubai Institute of Design and Innovation, where she earned a Bachelor of Design with concentrations in Fashion and Multimedia. Her work centers on life-centered design, a practice that considers not only aesthetics and functionality but also the impact of design on both people and the planet. Zoe’s approach is rooted in the belief that design should foster awareness, responsibility, and connection across human and non-human systems. Drawing from her background in fashion and digital media, she combines visual storytelling with ecological sensitivity to create projects that bridge creativity and planetary health.

Krish Bhatia
Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences
Krish Bhatia is a third-year MD medical scholarship student at Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU) and a recipient of multiple Dean’s Honor Awards. He leads several research and innovation projects under Dubai Health, including an ongoing AI software for rapid stroke diagnosis in collaboration with Rashid Hospital. His team was a finalist for the Best Team Strategy award at the International Design for Change Competition, 2025. His computer-aided modelling and engineering skills allow the physical manifestation of his innovations, spanning across healthcare, to help put UAE on the map for technological prowess and superiority.
